I've been here a few times. Sometimes it's packed, sometimes it's empty. This most recent time was a Saturday night and it was surprisingly empty even though there was an NFL playoff game going on. This bar does have a lot of TVs to watch games on but I suppose most people come here for the cheap appetizers and cheap drinks so maybe if you're looking for fans to cheer along with, better to go to ninth Avenue. Service was fantastic here, my waitress was very attentive and very kind. All the appetizers came out delicious and warm and the drinks were superb and got me to where I wanted to be. With the right company, coming here will be a good time. At the very least you won't break your wallet trying to get drunk lol.
Since my College Days, this has been The place to go to get cheap sliders and shots. As the name suggests, sliders are $1 shots, are $2 and, beer is $3. The sliders are decent. I mean, it's what you would expect for a dollar. Their Golden BBQ sauce is liquid crack for me. It's sooo good and a must-have condiment whenever I grab food. The shots come in different flavors, so far my favorite is the Lemon Drop. There are a few that aren't so great ( I forgot their names) but then again the shots are $2. This place is great for pre-gaming and casual outings.
At first it seems kind of sketchy since the drinks and food were so cheap, but it honestly was delicious. Came here with a large group, and I gotta say I was impressed (although I did come with low expectations). Cool concept of $1 burgers, $2 shots, and $3 beers. The shots came as a roulette wheel, which made it super fun. Drinks were pretty good. My favorite item was the chicken wings! They were surprisingly moist and flavorful! 5/5 for the chicken wings, but 4/5 for the drinks and burgers.
Great sports bar! As their name suggests, they have items here for $1 to $3. However, the discount menu is basically just $1 burgers, $2 shots and hot dogs, and $3 beer bottles. They offer a lot more bar food and drinks but at regular prices. The burgers are kind of small (think White Castle size) but tasty and hard to complain about at the price. The shots offered were a good variety and include things like pina coladas and Long Island Iced teas. The beer bottle selection was decent too and included all the good ones like Corona, Heineken, Budweiser, etc. There are several TVs playing various sports and they even offer playing some games and playing cards. Overall, a good, cheap place to go with a couple friends.
Cheap and consistent! I feel that anyone complaining about the service or quality here needs to remember where they are. We visited here on a Saturday afternoon and had no issue getting a table outside. In my opinion, the sliders are fantastic! I was expecting to pay extra for cheese and onions but they are included in the $1 price. One slider also comes with each happy hour cocktail! I got the vodka cranberry happy hour drink (don't remember the exact name), and it was very strong. I also tried the kamikaze, lemon drop, screaming orgasm, mudslide, and piña colada shots and was happy with all of them. The staff was super friendly, too! The service is very slow, but it's forgivable considering that this is a dive bar with extremely cheap prices. Definitely would come back!
I came in to the place on the first wet and rainy Mondays of the fall so it was not busy at all but there were some business. I went in with the another couple and my husband. The place is very new furniture is really nice and lots of big screen TVs all over. They have lots of games for playing cards and etc. we decided to have a couple drinks a few of the dollar shots and a few things to get to eat. I decided to go with the ribs being that's one of my favorite things to eat. My hubby decided to get sliders and fries. My friend got sliders as well. We also decided to get some wings. My top thing on the menu that I had was the ribs. I love the crispy parts and very tender. The sliders were pretty good as well. Overall I definitely give the place a four and I am going to be back expensive for those ribs so stock up!!
I'm giving them 4 stars for location: they're right next to the Hudson River and the beautiful piers so during the summer or fall, you can enjoy hanging outdoors in nice scenery. I'm also giving them 4 stars for their happy hour prices. I believe it's $1 [mini] burgers (minimum 3 order, i believe), $2 shots (same size as their $6 shots so save money) and $3 beers (awesome deal). The food was ok. It's not something I would have daily but if you're hungry and it may suffice. There are lots of TVs to watch sports and a few games on the side for entertainment. They have potential to be a good hangout spot so I wish them well.
Was here Friday night with a bunch of people after work. This was my first time here and it was awesome. There are so many drinks to choose from. We had 4 rounds of rainbow shots. Its 19 shots, a mix of everything on the menu. We also ordered honey garlic chicken wings, sliders, mac and cheese wedges, yucca fries and waffle fries. We also ordered about 12 coronas. The waitresses were very attentive. Would definitely come back again.
